Calling all callers!
Are you a new caller who would like to gain some confidence calling dances for a small, friendly group of dancers? Are you an experienced caller who would like to try out some new dances and work out any bugs before calling them for a larger crowd? Do you usually call contra dances but are interested in learning to call squares or English country or other dances?
Over the winter, an enthusiastic core of callers, dancers, and musicians has been getting together once a month for callers parties.
Open to all levels of callers/dancers, even those who have never done it! It has been great to have dancers supporting all of us budding callers while we learn. And hey, it’s a chance to get in a little extra dancing fun! Feel free to bring a snack to share or a choice beverage. We look forward to seeing you there! Contact Jim for more information.
