Spring Breakdown Cancelled

The MMTD board is sad to announce that due to concerns around COVID-19 we are cancelling the 2020 Spring Breakdown dance weekend and putting our local dances on pause. We feel this is the best decision to protect the health of our dance community and the wider community. Many dancers had already been in touch saying they were wisely not planning to attend the weekend. Our “parent” organization, the Country Song and Dance Society, has also recently updated their recommendation to state that such events should be cancelled through April.

We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you posted here, on our Facebook pages, and by email as we make decisions on future dances. If you do not receive our email and would like to be added to the list, please email us at mmtdcolumbia@gmail.com.

We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and continue to be so. We look forward to dancing with you again!
